Publications Manager
Remote
12 month contract
• Lead overall publication planning and strategy in collaboration with R&D Compound Development Team, Medical Affairs, Regional Teams, and Market Access colleagues.
• Manage a team of external publication vendors for publication planning and execution.
• Work collaboratively with Global Medical Affairs Leader/Medical Director and Strategy & Execution Leads to align the global publication plan.
• Seek input and ensure regional and local publication needs are identified and addressed in the global publication plan.
• Oversee publication development and timely execution of abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts per ICMJE and in compliance with publication policies and system.
• Leverage best practices across the Oncology Global Medical Affairs team to optimize publication efforts, including use of two-pager process.
• Provide strategic input to senior leadership to guide decision making regarding publication strategy.
• Support annual global medical affairs planning and budget estimates for publication team deliverables.
• Manage and track overall publication strategy budget and lead vendor selection and on-boarding.
• Additional responsibilities include:
- Understand the evolving publications landscape through engagement with and participation in professional societies (eg, ISMPP)
- Attend key scientific congresses and meetings for the TA to ensure accurate and appropriate presentation of scientific evidence
Qualifications/Requirements
· Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience required
· Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred
· Experience working on Publications within a Pharmaceutical setting is required
· Global mentality with consistent record of partnering cross-functionally and regionally is preferred
· Proven experience in getting results in a highly complex and constantly evolving environment is preferred
