Job Title: Systems Analyst (.NET & SQL Server)

Position Overview:

As a Systems Analyst specializing in .NET and SQL Server, you will be an integral part of our development team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of critical business applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development:
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Develop and maintain .NET applications using best practices and design patterns to meet business requirements.
    • Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with SQL Server databases.
  1. Production Support:
  • Provide timely and effective production support for existing applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions as needed.
    • Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand and address user-reported issues and enhancement requests.
  1. Project Collaboration:
  • Work closely with senior team members and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
    • Contribute to project planning and estimation efforts, providing input based on technical expertise and experience.
  1. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and support documentation.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role, with expertise in .NET and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile/Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Certification in .NET or SQL Server technologies.
