6-month Contract-to-Hire

100% Onsite – Columbus, OH

Hours: Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am (2nd Shift)

 

Brooksource’s Public Sector partner is seeking to hire several junior or entry-level candidates with a hobby or interest in working with vehicles to work as Armored Automotive Technicians for our client’s automotive group supporting government operations overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking a long-term career in a mechanical role with little to no previous automotive experience required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Disassemble and/or install new mechanical and electrical vehicle components.

·      Follow standard procedures to assemble products and maintain a safe working environment. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Prior military service highly preferred, all MOS considered.

·        High School diploma, clear background check and drug screening (including marijuana) required.

·        Experience (paid or unpaid) with automotives, heavy machinery or other equipment that contains a motor.

·        Automotive Painter candidates need certifications or demonstratable experience and are eligible for a higher pay rate.

·        Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift in repetitive motions.
