Job Title: Associate Director – Organizational Design & Transformation
Location: Remote or Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 7-months (through 2025)
Start Date: May 19th, 2025
Job Description:
The Associate Director Organizational Design and Transformation will provide functional support, leadership, and
coordination. This includes supporting key transformation efforts including the GPS Excel Transformation Initiative, development,
simplification, functional communications, and strategy partnership. The Associate Director will closely collaborate with the PV
Strategy team, HR and GPS organizational leaders. The Associate Director will partner with the Senior Director, PV Strategy and
Transformation and key stakeholders to enable execution, identify obstacles, and remove barriers to deliver functional objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead initiatives to build competencies, redefine ways of working, and manage transformational programs that support our transformation plan.
- Develop and implement a change management plan to support a talent-related transition to a co-located and capability aligned operating model
- Implementation of the current functional transformation including the communications plan and content, specific implementation timelines, milestones, measures, etc.
- Implement centralized changes necessary to realize the functional strategy transformation in collaboration with the Lead Team, Implementation Team, and cross-functional business partners, inclusive of:
- Process – simplification and right-sizing by examining opportunities to stop, start, shift, co-locate work.
- Measurement– how we should measure our work in the future and milestones for this project
Organizational Effectiveness Development and Logistic Support
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, GPS Leaders, and the PV Strategy team to ensure a cohesive approach to talent change initiatives.
- Provide strategic coordination within GPS and key internal business partners
- Continue to assess the organizational design and provide recommendations for its evolution to meet the changing needs of the business through feedback from a broad variety of stakeholders.
- Lead special projects or represent the function in key corporate or cross-functional initiatives.
- Support the function on special issue management initiatives.
- Lead identification and prioritization of key strategic initiatives to improve VEO business processes.
- Ensure internal and external environmental trends that impact GPS are considered in organizational decisions regarding business process improvements and organizational management.
- Drive function-wide shared learning initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Provide technical support and insight across the function to enable the efficient use of software, tools, and communication channels
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration
- R&D, drug development process experience
- Experience managing a portfolio of transformation projects
- Organizational Change Management
- experience managing change and process improvement in pharma industry
- implementing change management frameworks and organizational development strategies
- Ability to manage resources and budgets effectively
- Excel, MS Office, Work Day, Power BI (nice to have)
