Administrative Specialist II
Onsite – Zebulon, NC
12-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
Desired Start Date: 6/30/2025
Calculated Hire is in search of an Administrative Specialist II for our Utility Company partner. You will be responsible for the following components:
Job Description:
- Workers at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization.
- Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of oversight and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
- Uses business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail.
- Maintains files and calendars.
- Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses.
- Be able to solve more complex problems and are responsible for providing technical, analytical and work management support for Distribution, Customer Experience & Services.
- Working within the parameters of established processes and standards, using independent judgment and initiative to complete assigned tasks.
- This position is accountable for providing accurate and timely work results which support safety, reliability, storm restoration, and cost management while providing exceptional customer service.
- This position may also be utilized to provide administrative support to multiple managers.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with business software applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong analytical mindset
- Attention to Detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Time management skills – able to provide accurate and timely work
