Flutter Developer – Warehouse Mobility & Automation

About the Role:
Be a key player in our clients next-generation mobile experience within its highly automated distribution centers. As a Flutter Developer, you’ll build high-performance applications for use on rugged devices by warehouse associates and robotic interfaces. These applications are central to the company’s broader strategy to automate fulfillment, reduce manual workflows, and better serve online and Pro Customers.
This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge warehouse tech and help define how humans and machines interact in one of the largest retail supply chains in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Flutter apps used by warehouse associates and potentially integrated with robotics systems
- Collaborate with teams working on WMS upgrades and device-based warehouse automation
- Design clean, intuitive UIs for operational workflows including order picking, bulk shipping, and real-time DC data display
- Work closely with QA and backend teams to connect your apps with APIs, warehouse systems, and automation platforms
- Participate in device strategy and UX feedback loops across multiple DFCs with different operational strategies
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of mobile app development using Flutter and Dart
- Experience developing for warehouse, retail, or logistics environments is preferred
- Familiarity with integrating apps into backend systems and WMS via RESTful APIs or GraphQL
- Strong understanding of mobile app performance and deployment in high-volume environments
- Bonus: experience with robotic or IoT system integration, especially in industrial or warehouse settings
- Great team player who can adapt quickly and work alongside startups, vendor teams, and internal engineers
